Roasted Asparagus with Parmesan and Lemon 🌿🍋

🛒 Ingredients:
- 1 bunch fresh asparagus (about 1 lb), ends trimmed
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (or 1/2 tsp garlic powder, optional)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- Lemon zest (optional, for garnish)
👩🍳 Instructions:
1. Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
2. Prepare the Asparagus:
- Rinse and trim the tough ends of the asparagus.
- Arrange the asparagus in a single layer on the baking sheet.
3. Season the Asparagus:
- Drizzle olive oil over the asparagus and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and minced garlic (or garlic powder if using).
- Toss gently to coat evenly.
4. Roast:
- Roast in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until the asparagus is tender and slightly crispy on the ends.
- In the last 2 minutes of roasting, sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the asparagus and return to the oven until melted.
5. Add Lemon:
- Remove from the oven and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the asparagus.
- Garnish with lemon zest if desired.
6. Serve:
