A Note on Natural Sugar:

Dates are a natural sweetener, packed with fiber and minerals—but they are still high in natural sugar. For women over 50, especially those watching blood sugar or managing weight, these are best enjoyed:

  • Pre- or post-workout for clean energy and recovery

  • As an occasional treat rather than a daily habit

  • Paired with protein or fat (like a hard-boiled egg or some Greek yogurt) to keep glucose stable
